"Firefighting, on the surface and as a profession is so unlike art that I am intrigued and driven to this personal mission to resolve the differences and become a bridge where it's divided. I have this great honor now of servicing my community by exposing to the general population (through these photographs) the dangers, emotions, brotherhood and resolve that go along with dedication to this service. I do not have the bravery or physical capabilities that it takes to suffer through the dangers to assist others as these brave men and women do, but I do have just enough backbone to tag along, document and archive what they do so it can clearly be revisited and appreciated. Right now, I choose to follow and be inspired by this muse that is truly of the most humble spine, and I couldn't be more honored and excited each day I continue."
